Arsenal will be hoping to return to top form when they face Angers in their penultimate pre-season game ahead of the start of the new season.

Even though they look likely to land Lille winger Nicolas Pepe to further strengthen their forward line, the issues at the back remain.
With Hector Bellerin injured till September and no immediate centre-back deals completed for the upcoming campaign, the Gunners could start the season with a slightly makeshift back-line.
That line could be put to test against French opponents Angers, which will give Emery some sort of idea of the side he wants to start against Newcastle in less than two weeks time.
In terms of injury news, Alexandre Lacazette won’t be risked for this game, while Shkodran Mustafi could miss out amidst rumours of him being linked with Monaco. Rob Holding and Bellerin are not ready to come back.
