Arsenal are thought to be closing in on a £45 million package for Celtic star Kieran Tierney – but is it a good move for all involved?
According to Football Insider, the Gunners are set to launch a third bid of £25 million for the Scotland international, with Arsenal officials confident of agreeing on a fee with the Hoops.
The club have reportedly already agreed on a bumper signing on fee and personal terms, which would see Tierney triple his current wage to £75,000-a-week, bringing the total deal to £45 million.

If the reports are true and a move goes through, it would be an excellent piece of business by the Gunners.
They’d be receiving a high-quality full-back for a relatively cheap price in today’s market, with the 22-year-old still yet to reach his prime.
Tierney will be able to play in either a back four or five, giving Unai Emery no problems over his abilities to fit into either formation.
The Scot has also shown his capabilities going forward and could provide plenty of chances up and down the left flank.
Tierney would certainly be an upgrade on both Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolašinac, so a move would certainly be a hit with the fans.
The player himself would be given the chance to test himself in the Premier League and help the Gunners push for a place back in the Champions League.
A deal would also please both Gunners officials and Emery, who have been after the talented youngster for the majority of the current window, and it appears as if they’re closing in on their man.
