Arsenal preparing €40m Everton offer – would he fit in at the Emirates?

Arsenal are thought to be preparing an official €40 million offer for Gremio forward Everton – but would he fit in at the Emirates?

According to Brazilian outlet UOL Sport, cited by FourFourTwo, the Gunners are plotting a bid for the talented forward, with Serie A side Napoli also tracking the Copa America star.

The player himself is also thought to be willing to move to London ahead of the new season, with the window slamming shut in two weeks time.

But with Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang already on the books at the Emirates, could the forward fit into Unai Emery’s side?

The 23-year-old would predominantly be used on the wing. The Brazilian is known for turning out on the left side, beating defenders with ease and producing consistent opportunities for teammates.

Everton also has a real eye for goal and can cut in from the left and fire in from distance, something which would be greatly welcomed at the Emirates.

Emery may well have to tinker his style to fit Everton, Lacazette and Aubameyang in the same side, however, securing the Brazilian’s services could turn out to be an excellent piece of business.
