# The Winners and Losers in Arsenal’s proposed deal for Dani Ceballos

Arsenal [look set to secure the services](https://readarsenal.com/2019/07/21/arsenal-confident-about-ceballos-deal-would-he-be-a-good-signing/) of Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos this summer.

The Spaniard has reportedly picked the Gunners over a move to rivals Tottenham Hotspur, with the youngster set to move to the Emirates on a season-long loan.

Ceballos recently starred in Spain’s Under 21 European Championship triumph, playing in every game of the competition and scoring twice.

The 22-year-old will be keen to impress during the upcoming campaign, with the midfielder hoping to cement his place in the Real Madrid starting line-up for the following season with a positive stint away from the Bernabeu.

Ceballos will be the Gunners’ second summer signing if a deal goes through, with Unai Emery’s only piece of business so far bringing in Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli.

So with Ceballos’ move reportedly close, we’ve decided to take a look at who will come out as winners and who will end up as losers as a result of the proposed transfer.
