Tottenham have reportedly joined Arsenal in the race to sign Dani Alves this summer – so should the Gunners now make their move?
According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Unai Emery is urging Arsenal officials to launch a move for the free agent, with Spurs now entering the race to sign the Brazilian.
Premier League champions Manchester City are also keen on the right-back, with Pep Guardiola considering making a move for the player he successfully coached at Barcelona.

Arsenal are in desperate need of defensive reinforcements and are under a tight transfer budget, so a move for the free agent sounds sensible.
The former Paris Saint-Germain star would demand a high salary, however, he showed recently at the Copa America that he is still one of the best full-backs in the world.
The 36-year-old is edging towards the end of his career but could offer Emery one or two seasons of high-quality performances, something needed at the Emirates next season.
Hector Bellerin and Ainsley Maitland-Niles are currently available to Emery at right-back, however, the chance to sign a world-class player on a free transfer doesn’t come around very often, so a move could prove to be a smart one by the Gunners over the next 12 months.
