Arsenal will reportedly offer Celtic £22 million for star defender Kieran Tierney – but should the Gunners meet the Hoops’ £25 million valuation?
The Metro report that Arsenal were preparing an improved £19 million bid for the left-back, however, they will now increase that to £22 million with Serie A side Napoli showing a strong interest.

Celtic have the power to pull the plug on a potential deal for Arsenal’s main transfer target, so should the Gunners just offer the full £25 million?
Unai Emery has £45 million available to him this summer, and with Tierney his main transfer target, the club would be silly to risk losing out on the player for the sake of £3 million.
For £25 million, Arsenal would be getting a star full-back who has the potential to grow into a Gunners legend.
Tierney has all the qualities needed to succeed in the Premier League and would be able to adapt to both of Emery’s systems with ease.
Arsenal need to bolster their defensive options ahead of the new season, and after putting the majority of their efforts during the window so far into signing Tierney, they may have to just offer the full valuation or face risk losing out on the 22-year-old.
