Arsenal are reportedly keeping close tabs on Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr as a potential alternative to Wilfried Zaha, so who should the Gunners prioritise?
According to Sky Sports News, Arsenal have earmarked the player as a potential target should any move for Zaha fall through.
While Arsenal fans will be pleased to learn that the Gunners are keeping their options open, especially if Palace make negotiations difficult, the club must try and look to tie down a deal for Zaha.
Zaha has emerged as a key target for the club and should they manage to pull a deal off this summer, it would certainly soften the blow of missing out on Champions League football.
When comparing the two, Zaha only scored one more goal in all competitions compared to Sarr, but the former’s Premier League experience would be a huge advantage in any deal.
While Zaha would be considerably more expensive, from Arsenal’s point of view it would be a safer deal to bring him in, especially with the player himself eager to complete a move.
