Arsenal have joined the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United in the race to land creative attacker Dani Olmo – but is he the missing link in the Gunners’ attack?
Croatian news outlet Sportske Novosti, cited by Spanish source AS, claim that the Gunners are one of numerous European sides tracking the player following his man-of-the-match performance in Spain’s 2-1 win over Germany in the Under 21 European Championship final.
The report goes on to add that Manchester United have made an offer in the region of €40 million, while German champions Bayern Munich and French giants Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on the youngster.

The creative attacker, who emerged from the Barcelona academy before making the move to Dinamo Zagreb in 2014, has plenty of senior experience and could prove to be the missing link for Unai Emery’s side in an attacking sense.
Olmo has mainly been used as a number 10 and has impressed with his ability both on and off the ball.
The 21-year-old appears to have an impressive footballing brain, is lightning quick and can play anywhere in an advanced role.
Olmo also has an eye for goal and has the ability to go past a man with ease, something which appears to be missing at the Emirates Stadium.
The Spaniard appears to have all the qualities needed to succeed in the Premier League, however, due to his high price tag, the Gunners may well miss out on the player, who could be the perfect addition to Emery’s side.
