Arsenal will reportedly hold talks with Alexandre Lacazette’s representatives after interest from an unnamed Spanish club, but should the Gunners sell?
According to reports from Get French Football News, the striker is wanted in La Liga, which could leave the Gunners with a decision to make.
It has been widely reported that Arsenal do not have much to work with this summer in terms of a transfer kitty and without Champions League football, they may have to sell in order to buy.
Should Lacazette remain happy and not push for a move out of Arsenal, the club must do all they can to keep him at the Emirates.
Without Champions League football, he would simply be impossible to replace with the funds they have available.
Both he and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang have been linked with moves away from the club this summer, but given their respective ages, the latter has to be considered as the more disposable of the two.
Arsenal have waited a long time to find another clinical striker worthy of leading the line and it would represent a huge step backwards if they were to sell Lacazette this summer.
