AC Milan are reportedly willing to include left-back Ricardo Rodriguez in a deal to sign Arsenal’s Lucas Torreira – but should the Gunners accept the Italian side’s proposal?
According to Italian outlet La Gazzetta Dello Sport, cited by Calcio Mercato, Milan are thought to be closing in on a deal for Real Madrid left-back Theo Hernandez and are willing to allow the Swiss star to head to the Emirates in a deal to bring Torreira to the San Siro.

Unai Emery is desperate to add to his defensive ranks this summer, and a move for Rodriguez fits the bill for what the Spanish boss is looking for.
The Swiss star has plenty of international and club experience, is reliable at the back and is also impressive going forward, however, the Gunners cannot afford to lose Torreira this summer.
The 23-year-old is a player that Emery should be looking to build his team around.
Torreira was one of Arsenal’s standout performers last season and the defensive midfielder will only get better after each season in the Premier League.
Milan’s proposal could be appealing to the Gunners with an experienced defender and a lucrative fee on offer, however, Arsenal must refuse all approaches for the midfielder if they are hoping to build on Emery’s first season in charge.
