Six alternatives to Kieran Tierney

Arsenal are reportedly pursuing a move for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney this summer, as Unai Emery looks to strengthen his defensive options ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.

The Gunners boss currently has Sead Kolasinac and 33-year-old Nacho Monreal as his options at left-back, but appears to be in the market for a stronger option.

At 33, Monreal is entering the final stages of his career, while Kolasinac failed to make much of an impact during his debut campaign, despite showing promise at the start of the season.

Celtic are said to value the Tierney at £25million, and the Gunners have thus far fallen short of that figure with their two offers for the Scotland international, with reports suggesting Arsenal have offered no more than £19million.

And with that in mind, we’ve taken a look at six left-back’s Emery could turn to should the Gunners fail in their pursuit of Tierney.
