Arsenal were unsuccessful in their pursuit of Christopher Nkunku during the winter transfer window but now find new hope as Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly named their price.
Unai Emery is thought to be a big fan of the promising midfielder and it’s likely the Gunners will be returning for his services.
According to L’Equipe, cited in Sport Witness, Emery was desperate to secure a loan deal with the option to buy in January but it was seen as too complicated by PSG.
Latest reports claim that the Ligue 1 champions are looking to sell Nkunku after he asked to leave though and have slapped a £13.million price tag on his head.
Arsenal have been scouting the 21-year-old Frenchman since the failed negotiations at the start of the year so it wouldn’t be surprising if the club meets the asking price.
Nkunku is an exciting talent that could prove to be very good value for money in the long-term.
