AC Milan have reportedly made a two-year loan offer for Arsenal’s Lucas Torreira, but should the Gunners look to keep hold of the midfielder?
According to the Metro via Italian outlet Sport Mediaset, the Serie A giants have tabled an €8million two-year loan offer for the midfielder with an optional future fee clause of €38million.
But should Arsenal look to keep hold of Torreira?

The midfielder enjoyed a relatively strong debut season for the Gunners, making 50 appearances in all competitions following his £26million move from Sampdoria last summer.
However, the Torreira has suggested himself recently that he has struggled to settle since his move and is more suited to life in Italy, and keeping an unsettled player could have a detrimental effect on both him and the Arsenal squad.
The 23-year-old, though, adds a physical edge to Arsenal’s midfield despite his lack of height, with the Uruguay international not afraid to put in a tackle in midfield.

Furthermore, Unai Emery’s use of the midfielder last season suggests he is an important player for the Gunners, and he was arguably one of Arsenal’s better performers in the 2018/19 campaign.
Arsenal are also said to have a relatively limited transfer budget this summer, and replacing the Uruguayan could prove difficult, even with the loan fee of €8million that Milan have reportedly offered.
Allowing the Uruguayan to move on, therefore, could prove to be problematic for Emery.
