Arsenal have reportedly made contact with Presnel Kimpembe’s father ahead of a summer move for the Paris Saint-Germain defender – but would the France international be a good signing by the Gunners?
According to Soccer Link, cited by The Boot Room, Arsenal have contacted Kimpembe’s father ahead of a potential summer swoop, with Unai Emery desperate to bolster his defensive options ahead of the new campaign.

The 23-year-old has made over 100 appearances for the French giants and was part of France’s World Cup winning squad last summer.
Kimpembe would provide Emery with the experience needed at the Emirates, while also having plenty of time to improve on his already impressive all-round game.
The defender is reportedly valued at £30m by his current side and has a contract until 2023, a relatively low fee for a defender with Kimpembe’s qualities.
Kimpembe has all the attributes needed to succeed in England and Europe, so if he is indeed available at £30m this summer, the Gunners may well kick themselves further down the line if they fail to get a deal done ahead of the new season.
