Ryan Fraser to Arsenal – would he be a good signing?

Ryan Fraser would be an exciting signing for Arsenal, with a summer move increasingly looking likely.

The Scot enjoyed a superb season at Bournemouth, bagging 14 assists in the Premier League.

His performances have seen a number of clubs linked with signing him, with Arsenal thought to be at the front of the queue.

According to the Mirror, Fraser expects a potential deal to go down to the wire this summer, with Bournemouth reluctant to sell one of their star men.

While not necessarily the most fashionable of players around, the 25-year-old would be an intriguing signing by the Gunners, who he admits are “a massive club.”

Fresh blood is required in a side that looked increasingly one-paced as the season went on.

Fraser’s blistering pace and directness are something Arsenal lack out wide, with the likes of Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan more creative than speedy.

The likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane have shown the importance of that at Liverpool and Manchester City – Fraser clearly isn’t on their level, but he could undoubtedly improve Arsenal.
