According to reports, Premier League side Arsenal have their sights set on 22-year-old Youssef En-Nesyri.
Despite their low budget of £40 million this summer transfer window, they may have prioritised this young striker for part of their team in the upcoming 2019/20 season. En-Nesyri is reportedly up for grabs for €10 million and will fit perfectly in with Pierre-Emerick Aubomeyang and Alex Lacazette.
En-Nesyri has been known to be able to play centrally and wide and could, therefore, be a real asset to Unai-Emery’s side.
It may not be so easy for Arsenal to secure the young striker; reports suggest that other teams including Borussia Dortmund are also interested in him.
Perhaps Emery is searching for a new striker in order to build his team, rather than relying on Aubameyang and Lacazette for every game. He’ll need to prove his worth next season after missing out on qualifying for the Champions League and signing a new young striker could be the thing to do it.
