# Who was your Arsenal Man of the Match against Valencia?

Arsenal got their Europa League semi-final tie against Valencia off to a good start, winning the first leg at the Emirates Stadium 3-1.

The Spanish side scored the game’s first goal after ten minutes, with Rodrigo heading across the box for Mouctar Diakhaby to nod home.

Alexandre Lacazette shortly brought the Gunners back into the tie, completing a fine team move by sliding home into an empty net after recieving the ball from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Lacazette doubled the lead not long after, heading downward from a deep cross, and despite his best efforts Valencia goalkeeper Norberto Neto couldn’t keep the ball out.

Emerick provided the final nail in the coffin in the final minute, smashing home at the far post after Sead Kolasinac’s high cross met him at a tough angle.

Valencia will be buoyed with an away goal to take into the second-leg, but Arsenal will feel in the more comfortable position ahead of the reverse fixture.
