Arsenal produced a stellar display to overhaul a two-goal deficit from the first leg to go through to the last-eight of the Europa League with a 4-3 aggregate win over French side Rennes.

Starting the game 3-1 down, the Gunners made an ideal start, when Aaron Ramsey found some space on the byline to cut the ball across for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to open the scoring in the fourth minute.

10 minutes later, the aforementioned scorer set up a goal for Ainsley-Maitland Niles, after some sleepy defending from the visitors.

In a closely-fought second half, Arsenal got their third goal on the break. Henrikh Mkhitaryan found Sead Kolasinac on the left-hand side, with the latter then producing a good low cross for Aubameyang to score his second of the night, 18 minutes from time.

A great result for Arsenal in the end, bearing in mind how poor they were in the first leg.
