Unai Emery has been putting his squad through their paces ahead of their Europa League meeting with BATE Borisov.
The first of two legs in the Europa League will come as a welcomed break from the Premier League for the Gunners.
Arsenal travel to Belarus for the first leg and will be looking to take advantage ahead of the return leg.
A report from the Daily Mail shows the players in high spirits and we’ve picked out a few things we noticed from the training pictures.
Everybody in good spirits
Alexandre Lacazette was among the many players beaming from ear-to-ear in what looked like an enjoyable training session.
The win against Huddersfield clearly raised spirits at the club and Emery will be hoping that the players embrace that feeling.
A lot has been made out of the feel-good factor that has surrounded the club this season and the training ground photos reflect that.
Even Ozil was smiling!
Mesut Ozil can often cut an unhappy figure at the club, with many criticising the player for his negative deminer.
However, despite the concerns about his future at the club, this did not appear to be the case. He was pictured happy and smiling during a training ground game!
Maybe there is hope for him at Arsenal after all? He’ll be hoping to get some minutes under his belt against BATE.
Sokratis back training
The Greek defender was pictured training once again at London Colney.
Sokratis will be a welcomed return for the Gunners, who have had their fair share of injury problems at the back this season.
Whether or not he is rushed back into the team to face BATE remains to be seen.
The defender has not featured since being forced off against Manchester United in the FA Cup.
Emery looking poised
It would be fair to say that Emery could be under a little bit of pressure when it comes to the Europa League.
He is a manager that has dominated the competition with his previous clubs and it’s one that Arsenal will no doubt have serious ambitions to win this season, especially with Champions League qualification up for grabs.
The Spaniard was looking stern throughout training as he looks to manage his squad carefully throughout this busy period.
While a trophy will be on his radar in his first season, the Gunners only sit a point behind fourth-place Manchester United in the Premier League.
