Arsenal will be aiming to get back to winning ways when they face struggling Cardiff City at the Emirates tomorrow night.
Unai Emery’s men suffered a blow in their cup ambitions when they were knocked out by rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup fourth round.
The challenge for Arsenal now is to get into the top four and try to win the Europa League. Currently, the north Londoners are three points behind fourth-placed Chelsea, with a real chance to chase their city rivals in the next three months.
In terms of injury news, Sokratis suffered an injury against United and will be out until late February. Laurent Koscielny is also out of the game after a facial injury against United. Henrikh Mkhitaryan is slowly getting back to full fitness.
Danny Welbeck, Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin are out for the rest of the season.
Here’s how we think Emery could line his team up tomorrow:
GK - Bernd Leno
After being rested for the cup game, we expect Leno to be back in goal for the league game.
RWB - Ainsley Maitland-Niles
The youngster played at right-back against United, however, the wing-back role would suit him better.
CB - Stephan Lichtsteiner
With Arsenal short on centre-back options, we predict Lichtsteiner to start on the right-hand side of central defence.
CB - Skhodran Mustafi
He is the only fit central defender in the squad right now. The German is expected to start in the centre of the defence, with Emery desperately short of options.
CB - Nacho Monreal
The Spaniard is capable of playing on the left-hand side of defence and that is where Emery may need him on Tuesday night.
LWB - Sead Kolasinac
The Bosnian is also better off playing at left wing-back.
CM - Lucas Torreira
The Uruguayan has had a great first season in midfield thus far. We predict him to start on Tuesday night.
CM - Granit Xhaka
The Swiss needs to cut out mistakes from his game in order to remain consistent in midfield.
RW - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Aubameyang is one of the in-form strikers in the league. However, he would be better playing on the right-hand side but tucked in, playing slightly narrower rather than out wide.
LW - Alex Iwobi
The youngster played really well against United and is expected to keep his place in the team against Cardiff.
ST - Alexandre Lacazette
The Frenchman has done well while leading the line for the Gunners. He’ll be aiming to score a goal or two against Cardiff.
