Arsenal agree to pay €2million to complete a loan deal for Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez this month, according to Mirror.
The Gunners are said to prepare an additional €20 million to make the move permanent in the summer.
Unai Emery has identified Suarez as Arsenal’s top target this transfer window. Although, Emery revealed earlier this month that Arsenal did not have funds for a permanent switch and only seek players in the loan market.
Denis Suarez is keen to join the Gunners because of his limited first-team appearances this season but Barcelona had been wary of giving the green light for the transfer, favouring a permanent move with cash up front for Suarez.
The Spaniard is seen as a long-term replacement to Aaron Ramsey, who will join Juventus on a free transfer in the summer.
The Gunners appear to finally have reached an agreement for the move with a small fee up front before adding an additional fee to secure permanent deal.
