# Arsenal keeping tabs on Wolves’ Conor Coady

Arsenal and Liverpool are both keeping a watchful eye on the performances of Wolves defender Conor Coady.

[According to the Mail Online](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-6587739/Wolves-preparing-offer-Conor-Coady-bumper-new-deal-amid-defender.html), both clubs have expressed an interest in the player, with Coady impressing at the back this season.

Coady has been a regular feature in defence for Wolves in the Premier League, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s men looking to make an impact upon their return to the top flight.

The player has become an imperious figure for Wolves after cementing his place as a defender, having previously played as a midfielder earlier in his career.

Wolves are hoping that they can tie the player down to a new improved contract, but the defender could be tempted by a big move.

Coady came through the ranks at Liverpool but never broke into the first-team squad and may feel like he has unfinished business at Anfield.

Arsenal have been looking to sign a defender this month, but face a battle to convince Wolves into selling halfway through the season.
