Juventus are considering the possibility of offering defender Mehdi Benatia to Arsenal in exchange for Aaron Ramsey this month.
Ramsey is on the verge of joining Juventus on a pre-contract agreement, but the Italian club are looking at bringing him to the club this month.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, via Sport Witness, Arsenal have told Juventus that they will have to pay €20m if they want to land Ramsey six months earlier – which they are not willing to do.
The report claims that they could offer Benatia to Arsenal in order to sweeten the deal, with Arsenal struggling at the back this season.
However, Gazzetta Dello Sport also states that this is not an ideal move for Juventus boss Allegri, who wants to keep all of his players this month.
Benatia has struggled for game time in the Serie A this season, with Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci ahead of him in the pecking order.
