Wolves make €18m bid for Arsenal target Rogerio

Wolves have made a bid for Arsenal-linked defender Rogerio, according to Tutto Mercato Web (translated by Sport Witness).

The left-back has been tipped with a move to the Emirates as part of an effort to strengthen a rather porous Gunners defensive line, but it seems as though another Premier League side has made the first move in the race for the 20-year-old.

Owned by Juventus, the Brazilian is currently on loan at Sassuolo and has made 18 appearances in all competitions so far this season.

Despite not being represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes, it is thought that the Portuguese mogul enjoys a good enough relationship with the player that he can convince him to follow numerous of his clients to Molineux.

Newcastle are also said to be harbouring an interest in the Brazil U20 international, who could transition into the potential successor to Alex Sandro for both club and country – should Juventus decide to keep him.
