Arsenal’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan has emerged as a transfer target for Italian outfit Milan.
According to reports in Italy, as cited on the Mirror, the San Siro outfit are exploring the possibility of bringing the Armenian to the Serie A.
With the Gunners being heavily linked with a move to sign Denis Suarez from Barcelona, concerns are being raised about the long-term future of Mkhitaryan.
Milan themselves have been linked with Suarez, but have only offered a loan with an option to buy in the summer.
Should the Spaniard go on to leave the Gunners, they could well turn their attention to Mkhitaryan.
The former Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund man has started nine Premier League games this season, scoring four goals along the way.
Mkhitaryan has been in and out of Unai Emery’s squad this season, with the player not always finding a natural position in the Spaniard’s side.
