Boost for Arsenal as six players return to full training
Arsenal have received a massive boost ahead of their trip to West Ham as six senior players have returned to full training, as reported on the official club website.
Manager Unai Emery has had a thin squad to select from during the festive period, with multiple defenders being ruled out of action with injuries.
However, things are beginning to look a lot better for the Gunners as defenders Hector Bellerin, Laurent Koscielny, Shkodran Mustafi, Nacho Monreal and Dinos Mavropanos have all returned to full training this week.
Along with them, playmaker Mesut Ozil has also returned and could return to the team for the trip to the London Stadium.
Koscielny managed to get injured in the warm-up prior to the FA Cup third round fixture against Blackpool but thankfully for Arsenal, it was only a minor back issue.
Ozil has not played since the 1-1 draw with Brighton on Boxing Day with a knee problem but with Henrikh Mkhitaryan ruled out until February, the German could get a sustained run in the team.
