Arsenal are set to rival Juventus for Eredivisie starlet Donis Avdijaj, TEAMtalk report.
Avdijaj of Willem II has been a shining light for the club this season and has so far accumulated a combined seven goals and assists.
An international for Kosovo, the forward has been catching the eye of Serie A giants Juventus among several other clubs, with Arsenal the latest big name to enter the race for his signature.
With Willem looking as though they could face relegation this season to the second division, the 22-year-old’s future at the club is in doubt, and he could be set for a January exit.
Avdijaj’s current deal expires in the summer and if the youngster fails to agree a new contract soon the club could be forced into selling him this month to avoid losing him for free at the end of the season.
However, as Willem’s current star of the show it is unlikely the club will allow im to leave on the cheap, and they have the option to trigger a one-year extension on his current deal as an attempt to boost their asking price.
