Arsenal are readying an audacious swoop for Bayern Munich forward James Rodriguez.
That’s according to the Mirror, who claim the Gunners are eyeing up a £63million move for the Colombian superstar.
Rodriguez is thought to be unhappy at Bayern Munich, having struggled to ever properly settle since joining on loan from Real Madrid in 2017.
The report even states that “speculation is mounting” that Arsenal’s bid has been accepted, with Liverpool also interested in the 27-year-old.
The Premier League leaders have not yet made an offer, however, according to Don Balon.

Bayern are believed to be willing to let Rodriguez leave and he has also been deemed surplus to requirements at Madrid.
Whether a transfer to Arsenal will materialise is debatable, but it could further cloud Mesut Ozil’s future at the club.
The Colombia international would unquestionably be an exciting addition, but improvements are required in other areas, most notably in defence.
Rodriguez burst onto the scene at the 2014 World Cup, topping the scoring charts and becoming a household name in the process.
He has never quite managed to reach his potential, however, despite flashes of brilliance in both Spain and Germany.
