Arsenal are set to compete with London rivals Chelsea for the signature of Denis Suarez in January.
As per claims made by Sport, as cited on Sport Witness, both teams are willing to complete deals for the midfielder who is out of favour at Barcelona.
Suarez has been unable to break into Ernesto Valverde’s plans this season and has found game time in La Liga hard to come by.
Arsenal could be looking to plan for life without Mesut Ozil, with the German continuing to be linked with a move away from the club.
Like Suarez, Ozil has fallen out of favour at Arsenal under Emery and has been unable to nail down a regular starting spot this season.
Milan are also in the running to sign Suarez but are only offering a loan with an option to buy, which could give both Chelsea and Arsenal an advantage.
