Emery keen to sign Torino defender N’Koulou

Torino defender Nicolas N’Koulou is the latest name to be linked with a move to Arsenal.

According to reports in Italy from Calciomercato, Emery is keen to sign N’Koulou in January as he bids to strengthen at the back.

Emery is in the market for a central defender following a string of injuries at the Emirates this season and it is believed that he is favouring a more experienced option.

N’Koulou, at the age of 28, would certainly provide the experience that Emery is looking for in what could also be one of the cheaper deals available throughout January.

The defender has been impressing at Torino this season and interest in his services is believed to be rising.

Torino are desperate to keep hold of N’Koulou for the remainder of the season as they try and secure European football, but a move to Arsenal may be too good to turn down.
