Arsenal are keeping tabs on Nigerian youngster Samuel Chukwueze, according to reports in Nigeria, cited by sportslens.
The 19-year-old currently plies his trade in Spain with Villarreal, with the teenager recently breaking into the first-team picture.
Chukwueze, who also gained his first international cap against Uganda last month, has featured in 22 first-team appearances for Villarreal, finding the back of the net on six occasions.

The dynamic winger, who is also known for his electric pace, scored in Villarreal’s Europa League victory over Spartak Moscow earlier this month, along with netting the winner in the club’s La Liga fixture against Real Betis at the end of November.
And with Arsenal boss Unai Emery short of options out wide in his Gunners side, Chukwueze could well be a realistic option for the new year.
However, fellow Premier League side Leicester City are also keen on the Nigerian’s services, so Arsenal may well have to guarantee Chukwueze some game time in order for the future star to make the move to the Emirates Stadium next month.
