Arsenal are looking to get back to winning ways when they face league leaders Liverpool at Anfield this Saturday.
Unai Emery’s were below their best in the Boxing Day draw with Brighton & Hove Albion. As a result, they are now fifth in the table, two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.
They are now up against a Liverpool team who are yet to be beaten in the league and are top of the table with a six-point gap.
The North London based team have had rotten luck with injuries, predominantly in the defensive department. However, Shkodran Mustafi is expected to be just about fit for this game. Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal are out.
In the corresponding fixture last season, Arsenal were smashed 4-0 by the home team. And with the way the Gunners have defending this year, omens are bad. A big team performance is needed.
