Aaron Ramsey offered PSG contract

Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly offer Aaron Ramsey an 18-month contract in January.

According to L’Equipe, the Welshman will have the opportunity to join the French champions, with the player still yet to decide on where his next move will take him.

Ramsey is out of contract at the end of the season and he’ll be free to discuss terms with foreign clubs when the new year starts.

Arsenal could be tempted to cash in on the player in January to avoid losing him for nothing, but they may well struggle to offload him with potential suitors able to negotiate a pre-contract agreement ready for the summer.

PSG are facing the prospect of losing French midfielder Adrien Rabiot at the end of the season.

In a similar scenario to Ramsey, Rabiot is out of contract and will be able to discuss summer deals next month.

Ramsey has now been identified as a potential bargain replacement for the midfielder, who himself is being linked with moves to the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona.
