Arsenal are interested in a possible deal to sign Isco from Real Madrid, according to reports.
The London Evening Standard claims that the Gunners will compete with London rivals Chelsea for the Spaniard if he is made available by Real Madrid going forward.
Isco is facing a bleak future at the Bernabeu after falling out of favour at the club.
It had been suggested that Manchester City could look to swoop for the player at the end of the season, with Pep Guardiola a known admirer.
Despite City no longer being in the running, it appears that a move to the Premier League remains an option for the midfield maestro.
Whether or not Arsenal would break the bank to land the player is yet to be seen, with any potential deal likely to cost somewhere in the region of £70 million.
With Mesut Ozil out of the team under Unai Emery, the Gunners may need to find a replacement for the German in the near future.
