Lille rule out January exit for Arsenal target Pepe

Lille have ruled out a January exit for Arsenal transfer target Nicolas Pepe, amid interest from the Gunners.

According to Calcio Mercato, Lille’s president has claimed that they would even reject an offer of €100m for the impressive forward.

Pepe has been in good form for Lille in Ligue 1 and has started to attract interest from a host of clubs.

Barcelona and Arsenal are thought to be the two frontrunners, despite Lille being adamant that he will not be sold.

Emery is eager to add to his Arsenal squad in January and a winger is one of his top priorities, along with a central defender. Gary Cahill has been heavily linked with a loan move to Arsenal from Chelsea.

Pepe has 12 goals and five assists in 18 Ligue 1 games for Lille so far this season.
