Ligue 1 outfit Rennes are keen to snap up Arsenal outcast Emiliano Martinez in January.
Reports from Yahoo Sport FR, as cited on Get French Football News, claim that the two clubs are in talks over a deal.
Rennes are facing the prospect of losing Tomas Koubek when the January window opens and are looking to act quickly to replace him.
The report does not specify whether the French side are looking to seal a temporary or permanent deal.

However, Martinez has failed to make an impact since coming through the ranks at Arsenal, which may point towards a permanent exit.
Now at the age of 26, he may be aiming to pursue first-team football after enduring various loan spells away from the club.
As the third-choice goalkeeper at Arsenal, a shot in the Gunners’ first-team squad is unlikely to happen anytime soon.
