Unai Emery admits Arsenal are considering making January additions, following their defeat to Southampton.
The Gunners slumped to a 3-2 loss at St Mary’s on Sunday afternoon, ending their 22-game unbeaten run in the process.
It dealt a blow to their top-four chances and has acted as a reality check after such an impressive three months.
Arsenal’s defeat also raised question marks about the quality and depth within the squad, predictably leading to talk of January incomings.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Emery admitted it was possible, but only if the right player is available.

I don’t know now.
We don’t have a lot of possibilities in January but maybe we can think of someone to sign to help us, but only if we think the other players can’t help us with their performance.
The club will look in January. It’s not easy. I don’t believe a lot in this transfer window because it’s not a big possibility with the players.
The club is working.
Arsenal have been linked with a host of players ahead of the January transfer window, including Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele.
Emery has made it clear that they will not spend for the sake of if, though, so new signings are far from a given.
