Arsenal will have to pay over €30million to sign highly-rated Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr.
That’s according to France Football, who describe the 20-year-old as the most ‘bankable’ player at the Ligue 1 club.
Sarr is believed to be attracting plenty of attention from the Premier League, with Arsenal one of those in the hunt for his signature.
Comparisons are being made with Liverpool star Sadio Mane, with both players tricky wide men who came through the Generation Foot system in Senegal.
The report states that Rennes will be looking for a sizeable profit on the €17million they paid for Sarr in 2017.
Crystal Palace are also thought to be keen on the Senegal international, but Arsenal would likely have too much pulling power over the Eagles.
The Mane route is possible, however, in terms of joining a lesser Premier League club before earning a bigger move a few years down the line.
Sarr could leave Rennes in either of the next two transfer windows, if the right bid comes along.
