Arsenal players “reminded of their responsibilities” after Hippy Crack incident

The Arsenal players who were reportedly inhaling nitrous oxide, aka “hippy crack” at a nightclub during the summer will be “reminded of their responsibilities as representatives of the club”, a Gunners spokesman said.

Boxes of “laughing gas” canisters were apparently brought to the players, who were partying in a private area of a West End nightclub back in August and for Gunners stars; Alexandre Lacazette, Mesut Ozil, Matteo Guendouzi and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, are all accused of inhaling the gas.

Players from other clubs, such as Raheem Sterling, Kyle Walker, Jack Grealish and Nathaniel Clyne, have all been accused of inhaling “hippy crack” in the last few years, so it’s not an uncommon practice amongst footballers.

However, Arsenal won’t be happy to have their players in the news for non-footballing reasons, hence why those involved will be spoken to by the club/
