Arsenal have received a huge injury boost after it was confirmed that defender Laurent Koscielny did not aggravate his Achilles injury during the Chekatrade Trophy match against Portsmouth, according to a report on Sky Sports.
The Frenchman limped off towards the end of the match and there were concerns that he could be out of action once again.
However, following further tests today morning, it has been confirmed that the defender was simply struggling with cramp and will be available for selection for the match against Huddersfield Town on the weekend.

Koscielny was named in the starting lineup for Arsenal’s U21 side at Fratton Park on Tuesday night and got through a majority of the match without any problems.
He is not fit enough for tonight’s clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford, but could make his eagerly anticipated return for the Gunners at the Emirates on the weekend, which would mark his first appearance under new manager Unai Emery.
