Laurent Koscielny limped off in Arsenal’s U21 fixture against Portsmouth on Tuesday night, GOAL reports.
Koscielny made just his second competitive appearance for the Gunners last night since suffering an achilles injury at the back end of last season which forced him out of France’s World Cup winning squad.
Koscielny featured in Tuesday night’s Checkatrade Trophy as he looked to step up his return.
However, the centre-back was forced off late on in the second half of the game, walking off the pitch alongside the club physio with what appeared to be an injury, though no contact had been made with an opposition player.

Koscielny had previously played 45 minutes for Arsenal’s U23s against Derby in November as he looked to make his return to first-team action for the Gunners.
Arsenal U21 boss Freddie Ljungberg spoke to the Islington Gazette after the game.
It was a bit sad [because] he signaled to me before their goal that he had cramp.
I told him to go down, he wasn’t injured. It was just cramp, but unfortunately he couldn’t move.
We understood that he wasn’t worried at all, it was just some cramp.
