Real Madrid are considering a shock swoop for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey in the January transfer window.
According to The Mirror, via The BBC, Real Madrid could move for Ramsey in the winter window as they look to bulk up their squad for the second-half of the season.
Ramsey has been linked to a host of top clubs across Europe following the confirmation that he will be leaving Arsenal at the end of the season.

His contract expires next summer and Arsenal have revealed that he will not be offered a new deal at The Emirates.
This has alerted Real Madrid, who could look to secure a cut-price deal in January rather than waiting to sign him on a free.
The Welsh international has made over 300 first-team appearances for Arsenal since joining the club from Cardiff in 2007.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Juventus, AC Milan and Bayern Munich have all also been linked with a move for Ramsey.
