Arsenal are taking a closer look at Roma winger Cengiz Under, according to reports in Italy.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for the Turkish international, whose performances in Serie A this season have caught the eyes of several clubs across Europe.
Under is a coveted player but Roma are believed to be intent on retaining his services, seeing off competition from elsewhere ahead of the January transfer window.

This does not appear to have deterred Arsenal, however, and it is reported by Football Italia that the Gunners have sent scouts to watch the young wide man in action as Roma take on Inter Milan on Sunday night.
The 21-year-old is set to be hot property in January, with clubs likely to battle for his signature. However, it’s stated that if he is to be prised away from Eusebio Di Francesco’s side, he will cost €50 million.
Under has scored two goals in Serie A this season and has contributed with three assists as well.
