Former Arsenal defender says the Gunners should do all they can to sign Ousmane Dembele.
The Barcelona forward has been continually linked with leaving the Catalan club in January, having failed to settle there.
Some reports do claim Barca are keen to keep him, however, with the player himself unsure about his next step.
Laurent told Sportingbet that Arsenal should put their all into signing the prodigiously gifted 21-year-old:
I think Arsenal should do everything they can to sign Dembele.
Everything about his style of play matches what Arsenal are looking for.
He isn’t getting the playing time at Barcelona, or playing in his strongest position, but Arsenal’s high intensity will allow him to reach his potential.
Dembele can play on either side of the pitch, which is a bonus and he’s showed that he can do it against the big teams, coming off the bench to rescue points for Barcelona.
Dembele has been linked with a host of top clubs and is viewed as one of the world’s most exciting young players.
Question marks do surround his attitude, though, which is thought to be a reason for his struggles at Barcelona.
