Arsenal have been backed to sign Manchester United forward Anthony Martial if he leaves the Old Trafford club in the near future.
Ex-Arsenal defender Lauren believes that the Gunners could be the perfect club for the Frenchman to realise his potential.
Martial is out of contract in the summer and could leave for nothing if United do not extend his deal or take up the 12-month extension they hold as part of his current contract.
Speaking to Sportingbet, as cited on the Express, the former defender said Arsenal ‘would be crazy’ to not try and sign the player.
If Martial doesn’t renew his contract at Man Utd, Arsenal would be crazy not to try and snap him up. He’s a fantastic player and is starting to show what he can really do when given a good run of games.
Martial won’t go anywhere without being guaranteed first-team football, which I think he would get at Arsenal.

There have been some suggestions that United could look to cash in on the player during the January window if it becomes clear that he will not sign a new deal.
Bayern, Juventus and Chelsea have all previously been credited with an interest in the former Monaco starlet.
