Unai Emery has taken nine Arsenal youngsters with him to Ukraine ahead of the Gunners’ Europa League clash with FC Vorskla, football.london reports.
Charlie Gilmour, Eddie Nketiah, Tyreece John-Jules, Zech Medley, Emile Smith-Rowe, Joe Willock, Jordi Osei-Tutu, Bukayo Saka and Dominic Thompson have all made the trip from Luton airport to Kiev on Wednesday afternoon after impressing for Freddie Ljungberg’s under-23s side this season.
Emery has also taken several senior first-team players with him to Ukraine too, including Petr Cech, Aaron Ramsey, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Matteo Guendouzi.
Arsenal look set to name a vastly changed starting XI for their Europa League tie against Vorskla on Thursday, despite Emery having said that he will take the fixture seriously.
Several of the nine youngsters could be named in the starting line-up for the match as Emery looks increase the number of youngsters making the step up from the Arsenal academy to the first-team.
