Arsenal are being linked with a January move to sign Newcastle’s Freddie Woodman but will face competition from Leeds and Celtic.
According to a report from the Mirror, as cited on talkSPORT, all three clubs are interested in signing the player during the January transfer window.
Woodman is highly rated at Newcastle but has failed to break into their first-team plans.
The England youth international has been tipped for a big move from a young age, despite the lack of senior appearances.
Leeds are said to have launched an approach to sign the player after suffering a goalkeeping crisis at Elland Road, however, new reports reveal they will face competition for his signature.
Arsenal only signed Bernd Leno over the summer but the opportunity to sign one of England’s brightest young prospects could be too good to turn down for the Gunners with Petr Cech reaching the latter stages of his career.
