Arsenal manager Unai Emery has revealed that Lucas Torreira was substituted in the second half against Bournemouth as a precaution, according to a report on the Mirror.
Emery admitted that he wanted to look after Torreira’s fitness, especially after a gruelling international break.

The Uruguayan international was in fine form against the Cherries on Sunday afternoon as the Gunners recorded a 2-1 victory at the south coast.
Torreira had a long-range strike smack against the base of the post in the first half and he was typically energetic throughout the match.
Emery explained:
He was a little tired and that there was a possibility [he could get injured].
We have to be clever because he played with the national team for two matches and sometimes you need to listen to the players when they sometimes need rest.
Emery replaced Torreira in the 79th minute at the Vitality Stadium and knows that Arsenal need to keep their midfield enforcer fully fit for a busy December schedule.
