Juventus place €20m price tag on Arsenal target Benatia

Juventus have placed a €20m price tag on central defender Mehdi Benatia, amid interest from Arsenal.

According to Tuttosport, via Sport Witness, Juventus are prepared to let Benatia go if Arsenal match their valuation of the defender.

Arsenal and Manchester United are both keen on bringing him to the Premier League in January, as they look to improve their defences.

Benatia played 33 times for Juventus last season and impressed at the back, but has fallen down the pecking order following the return of Leonardo Bonucci.

Arsenal are hoping to add a new central defender to the club and could make a serious move for Benatia when the transfer window opens.

Italian side AC Milan are also said to be showing an interest in the defender, which could be of concern to Arsenal if Benatia decides to stay in Italy.
