Arsenal make new move for Ousmane Dembele

Arsenal have made a new move for Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele ahead of the January transfer window.

According to Spanish outlet Sport ES, Arsenal have come in with another approach for the winger, having enquired in the summer.

The report claims that Dembele could be tempted by a switch to England and has a number of friends in the Arsenal dressing room.

Dembele played alongside and forged a superb playing relationship with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

Sport claim that Arsenal have asked Barcelona if there is the possibility of him leaving Catalonia in the next transfer window.

Arsenal would be interested in a loan swoop for Dembele, with Liverpool having also been linked with Dembele earlier this year.

The 21-year-old joined Barcelona from Dortmund in 2017 for a fee in the region of £96m, meaning that a permanent move to Arsenal is virtually off the cards.
